Great movie! We saw the 3D version (a must) and it was such a beautifully made movie. Bravo!

There were a few slow parts and I wish they'd explored the characters past a bit more but it was another solid Will Smith movie.

We enjoyed the movie and that's what really counts. As others have said it's tough to compare it to the originals because movie audiences are different now than they were 20 years ago. I feel it failed to capture the sense of adventure in the first but as a stand-alone movie it was definitely worth the ticket price and enjoyable overall.
