Faithful to orig cartoon!

I watched Speed Racer as a young girl in reruns, but unfortunately, I couldn't remember much about the cartoon. Soon after watching the movie, I went back and googled the cartoon. I couldn't believe how incredibly close this movie was to the heart of the orig cartoon. A real tribute to all us Speed Racer fans out there--and new fans!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
