I am sometimes doubtful of CGI+live movies, this one was awesome.
Sometimes the CGI overtakes the whole movie where the live sequences are only an excuse.
In this case, both had extreme relevance and complemented each other. I think that either would have stood well on its own.
The acting by the three main actors was excellent; the chemistry was intense and the whole movie could have been without CGI.
On the other hand. the CGI was so well done, so cool, so credible, that it could have stood on its own as well. But the meshed together very nicely. I am hoping for a sequel, soon, with the same cast (except for Bridges, I guess, since he was killed - or we think. Although I am sure he has an evil son).
