Excellent acting. Some plot points are a little nonsensical particularly with respect to appreciating the wife/mother's motivation, but not distracting enough to hurt the story line.
Having gone through a very similar situation, the acting resonated as true.

A moving and amazing entertainment experience. I hereby officially change my mind about 3-D and cGI because now I have seen the future of cinema!
And if you walk away from this movie worried about its "pro-environmental agenda" or "anti-Christian bias, you are a cold, feelingless, angry, small-minded, ignorant ideologue who has lost his or her soul long, long ago.
