True to the book

I have heard many comments about how this movie needs more action, more male attendees, etc. Well, may be it does and may be it doesn't. The best comment I have heard overall is that it needs to stay true to the book. This is correct. As long as the director(s) of these films stay as true to the book as possible they won't have any trouble making a blockbuster breaker. Only those who have read the books can truly appreciate the movies. And this one was pretty good. Books, of course are always better. If you really want to make a comment on the movies and truly understand the excitement get the books. Reading!! It is fundamental

Well I am amazed at all the negative review this movie is taking. I don't understand, if you don't like romantic movies why are you going? The movie did exactly what I expected it to do. Boy and girl meet, something happens to cause them not to be together (be it another girl, family, friends, etc.). They have a fall out (or two) and in the end they end up together. Hello people -- it is life at the movies. They did an excellent/ touching job with and old life story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
