I guess I wanted to relive my childhood... and used my 11 year old son as an excuse.
The movie is loaded with action. At times it can be a visual overload. Great mix of animation with the real actors. (Things have come a long way since my childhood) The plot can be very confusing for a child so I explained it to my son as we went along. Ironically, my son was somewhat bored for the first 3/4 of the movie then loved the end; while I keyed in on the actors during the the same period. Nice choice of actors. May be a little too much for a child under 12.
