This movie is definitely a corny, chick flick if you need to laugh/lift your spirits. I am not a person that likes musicals but there is more dialogue than singing in this movie. The singing parts aren't that long (thank goodness) and they are songs that you are familiar with if you know the Abba songs from the past. The entire audience was singing "Dancing Queen" and clapped at the end of the movie so I would say that not only I and my girlfriends enjoyed it but the rest of the theater enjoyed it as well.
After waiting 4 years it was nice getting caught up with the SATC girls to see what they have been up to since the show ended. This is a great "girls night out" movie celebrating "girlfriends/friendship". The movie was a bit long but since we don't get enough of this talent weekly on television anymore and it may be a very long time that we see them all together again, no complaints here.
I saw the previews and had this on my list of movies to see. The funniest parts were the clips from the previews and I guess I was expecting more funny parts.
Cameron and Ashton have great on screen chemistry which makes the characters/casting seem real. I enjoyed the NYC and Vegas setting for the storyline. Predictible movie but a feel good movie when you need to laugh.
Very disappointed in the movie, characters and casting. I am a huge Sarah Jessica Parker fan (SATC regular watcher) and like Dennis Quaid from past roles but this movie did not have anything to hold my interest (quiet depressing). It felt longer than 1 hour and 33 minutes (could have been a 30 minute movie). I would not recommend this in a DVD rental.
This was a funny movie (predictible) but enjoyable every minute. The characters were charming (Patrick Dempsey & Michelle Monagham). I think I am going to start watching Grey's Anatomy (LOL).
This would be a great Chick Flick (Girl's Night Out) or Date movie. I would recommend this DVD for rental.
I saw all the reviews and wondered what the hype was all about a movie about a pregnant teenager. Well this movie has an edge and brings out the best in every character for unfortunate situations. It has a surprise twist which is all good in the end.
What a cute storyline/movie. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ... need I say more ... it was worth just looking at him. The little girl in the movie was adorable; you just loved the little angel/devil in her.
I would recommend this movie or DVD rental to a friend.
I read the reviews prior to seeing and I was quite disappointed when I paid full price to see such a bad movie. Very predictible movie that was just plain DUMB.
I wouldn't even waste my time/money to rent this when it comes out in DVD.
Loved the movie and characters/casting. Movie was just the right amount of time and flowed. Katherine Heigl was charming; you felt her emotion throughout the movie.
Great chick flick to see for a Girl's Night Out or great DVD movie rental.
