I am so surprised to see the great reviews on here from a family perspective.... Not that it's not appropriate for family viewing, but as a parent, even with the history of the original Speed Racer, I thought this fit the stupid and boring category. It was OK for about 30 minutes, and then all intrigue was over and it became goofy while attempting action/adventure. My kids and their friends stayed but didn't spend any time raving when we left. Repetitive and repetitive and, wait, did I say repetitive? Yawn and wish I had my money back to go to the movie in the next theater over.... Everyone is entitled to her opinion, after all.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
