The Kids Loved It!

We went to see this with our twin girls (10)and our son (12) and all three of them loved the movie. It had lots of action and the racing scenes were exciting enough to make me hit the imaginary brake pedal several times. I liked the character and story development but it seemed a bit rushed at times. Still, not having watched the cartoon overly much as a kid, I got the jist of the setup and was able to follow the movie well. My husband loved Speed Racer as a kid and enjoyed the cars and racing scenes in this movie. As in the cartoon, Spridle and ChimChim were excellent comic relief. If you are looking for a movie the whole family will love, this is probably the one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
