I was expecting a lot more action out of this movie for what I assume is supposed to be a summer blockbuster. But clocking in at just under two hours, the film seems almosat incomplete in a way and far too slow at points. Some of the action scenes are amazing, and the initial portions with Ryan Reynolds are hilarious. The ending is very weak though and seems like they slapped a few characters in JUST to say they had them in the movie. Overall, go for the matiness or wait for the rental.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not a bad little reimagining of the series. Shaky close up angles were frustrating, as was the lack of kills involving objects that seemed destined to be used to kill with. Other than that, a fun little movie to watch with friends for some cheap shrieks and laughing at a lot of stupid teenagers who meet a grisly end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
