My husband and I took our son to see Speed Racer on opening night this past Friday. We really didn't know what to expect as we remember the cartoon quite differently from our childhood. I thought it was a feel good movie and the family message was quite a surprise. I didn't like that there was some swearing in the movie - that's the last thing I need my 5 yr old son repeating but all in all it was action packed, vivid, and exciting! We really felt like we were in a virtual game with some of the races!! Good thing we don't get motion sickness. Nice job to the producers.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
