Most Enjoyable Movie Ever!!!

If you're a fan of the original series like me, you'll love that the movie is true to the original series and that each of the actors really did their homework and sucessfully captured the character from the original series. Even if you've never seen an episode, though, you've got a lot to look forward to in this movie. The movie does a good job of introducing the characters and building up the background so that newbies won't be lost. The special effects combine dazzling colors and brilliant CGI to make it feel like you're in the middle of the action. You almost expect to feel the rush of wind as the cars go by. The movie is over 2 hours long, but we never noticed because it was such a thrill ride. If you're a fan of the original, don't leave during the credits because there's a great nostalgia trip hearing the old theme, quotes from the series, and even the original Japanese theme all put together in a remix-type finish. If you take the kids, watch out for some language and Speed's younger brother giving the bad guy the finger (which would have been a tongue stuck out in the original). There was some violence, but it wasn't intense or gory (hence the PG rating). My family and I watched a late show and our only disappointment was in not being able to purchase another set of tickets and watch it all over again immediately!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
