I saw the Speed Racer Movie tonight and I personally loved it. The race tracks were wild like the ones in the anime, and I think everyone that was involved in making this movie did a great job. There were exciting moments, sweet moments, and parts that just made me really crack up (Pops kicked butt). I highly recommend seeing it. Also, any Speed and Trixie fans are going to love it. Unlike the anime (that I still love) where I craved more of Speed and Trixie's relationship, in the movie we find out when and how the two met. Also, Speed doesn't have a wondering eye like he does in the anime, or at least I didn't catch it. The first scene with them in the Mach 5, I couldn't believe some of the things Trixie was saying to Speed, but it was over my little one's head, and I couldn't help but smile.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
