Totally inappropriate for Children

We brought our 6 and 8 year olds to see this movie -- it's rated PG after all. My 6 year old was scared and my husband and I were horrified at the drunken scene in the bar. The voilence was also a bit much for younger children. The central theme was a good one: down on your luck guy who gets picked on his whole life becomes a hero; but there was way to much inappropriate language and behavior for this to be a PG movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
