Tons of laughs!

Loved this movie! It was a riot. Other than the mushy, true 'chick-flick' ending, guys will laugh as hard as gals at all the antics. Don't leave when the closing credits start to roll - there are some really funny out-takes and bonus scenes. A must-see!

Good representation of the cartoon!

Any adult who grew up watching Speed Racer would like this movie, as would kids and teens. The racing graphics and animation were cool, but it was a little more futuristic than expected. The movie was very long (2 hrs 15 mins) and the middle dragged a bit. But overall, it is a 'good see' for what it is - a good representation of the old cartoon. Don't go expecting a great story line or you will be disappointed.
