I loved this movie because it was fast paced, had great special effects and is loaded with action. The humor between the characters didn't hurt either. True, there are some unbelieveable stunts performed by the characters in the movie, but -HELLO- it's only a movie. It maybe a little scary for some preschoolers. It may be a little too soft for the average hardcore (shoot'em up) action fan. My only complaint is that I had to pay an extra two bucks to look like Clark Kent for this movie. Who knows, maybe I'll use my Clark Kents for the next 3D flick.
This movie had great action and a great start for a relatively new super hero. I loved the wise cracking, alcoholic, unappreciated super hero role. Things sort of slowed down in the middle and towards the end, but thats's expected when a new character like "Hancock is introduced to an audience. The action did pick up again at the end. I like the "I'm not here to save the world attitude from will smith, a departure from his last few movies like "I Am Lengend". It's great to see that he went from caring about everyone in one movie to not caring about much at all in this movie. I think Will Smith brought a lot to the Hancock character, which gave the movie some humor, some heart, some excellent acting and most of all great entertainment. After saving the world and humanity a few times what else could he be except divine.
Just a great and enjoyable movie. We left the theater wanting to see more. The movie was so absorbing that we actually forgot it was 2 hours long. Prerequisites for a great movie were all met. Iron Man had a good start, an even better middle and an awesome finish. Best Marvel Comics movie yet.
