As a mom of 2 children, we have watched almost every action/comic book/thriller and sci fi flick that has come out in the last 10 years. I personally enjoy them as much as the kids do. Coming from the STAR WARS era and also an 80's fanatic, this combines both for me. Robert Downey Jr. is outstanding in this role and was a perfect cast for this part and is sexier than ever.
(That's the 80's part). This movie inflicts all of the necessary Sci Fi goodness as Stan Lee wrote it, with a touch of humor and tons of action. Wonderfully directed with a very creative vision...Kudos Favreau. I was completely impressed that the story line was "complete" and really spent the time in the areas that it needed too to give the viewer the full picture.
Oh yeah, my kids thought it rocked too!
