I was pleasantly surprised when I finished watching this movie. It was better than I expected. While there were one or to slow spots, the overall effect was an enjoyable afternoon of humor and action rolled into a single film. The actors did a great job and remained in character throughout.
The only thing that detracted the most for me was the fact that the writers were inconsistent with previous plot lines by allowing Tony Stark to drink. Keeping in mind that Iron Man 2 revealed he was an alcoholic, this inconsistency was a little jarring and out of character. Hopefully, the producers will keep a closer eye on this for Iron Man 3.
