I dont share the same experiences as most of the rest of the people that have rated the movie. It was pretty hyped. Ledger played an excellent Joker, hands down.
The movie was long, lots of explosive scenes, I almost gave it a 3 but a 4 will due. For me, with as much hype as the movie had there should have been something thats never been done before. Like when the Matrix first came out. Nothing like that had ever been done! The Dark Knight is a great movie.
But I believe it could have been better. The 4 other people I went with share the same opinion. We have more fun at Sex and the City.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Ok. I saw the previews and thought to myself. I have been going to the movies since the 70s and I have always seen the best parts of the movie in the trailers.
Well this movie is non stop action. I only see a few good movies a year and this one is right up there. The only thing that disappointed me about the whole experience was the kids at the theater, what are parents thinking?
Its PG-13 regardless of parental guidance. You do not bring a 4 and a 5 year old to go see this. The little girl sitting next to me said to her mom "mom did that guy die"? too young to see that stuff. Get a clue parents!!
