If you are interested in solid 3D effects and clean family fun ONLY than you will be pleased with this effort. If you are interested in a plot that is even remotely plausable or in a screenplay that holds true to the classic story then skip this flick. I usually have to take breaks during 3D films to rest my eyes. Not so with this show. The glasses were not comfortable but not uncomfortable and the quality of the effects were impressive. I thought the storyline was weak and I found myself muttering "C'mon, you're kidding me?" out loud when action sequences played out in impossible ways. Brendon Fraser, whom I normally like, seemed to be phoning this one in, but you can't really hold him at fault since the script was so thin. I did like Anita Briem. Didn't seem like she had much to work with either but she managed to engage me and I hope to see more of her in the future. I rate this one C
