Predictable but Lovely

A mature 5th-grader could have predicted this movie's ending; however, Scotland was total eye-candy. The wedding scene ending was a bit reminiscent (ya think?) of Mrs. Robinson. Their long-term platonic friendship turning into romance reminded me of "When Harry Met Sally." A little too Disney-esque w/both protagonists missing a parent (Ariel, Cinderella, etc...). but that would have brought balance and sanity when the plot needed tension. Seeing balanced, solid and connected friendships eventually did bring that balance and courage everyone needed to get over themselves. I took my daughter and two friends to see this movie. This will be a romantic-comedy classic, I predict.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
