This movie and it feel are very familiar if your a X- Files fan. The give in take between Mulder (Duchovny) and Scully (Anderson) is all there like they have never stopped. If you aren't a fan then I think it will not be your cup of tea. The plot is less grandiose and I think the movie is better for it. The first movie (twelve years ago) tried to bring in non fans with a "blockbuster" epic plot. My only complaint with this movie is that at one point Mulder and Scully seem to re-hash underlying problem in their relationship that slows the movie down. I recommend this movie if your fan but if your not I would pass it up and rent it.
