Excellent Adaptation

Robert Downey Jr. really becomes Tony Stark, bringing all of the arrogance of a warlord womanizing billionaire to the big screen. Even Jeff Bridges portrays a convincing villain (he's known primarily for his nice-guy roles). The cast is perfect, without exception. The CG is well executed, and not overdone. The suit is not the star, that definitely goes to Downey, who's light humored approach makes the film very enjoyable. What sets this film apart from most action movies, is that it is paced for adults, letting the actual story develop and dazzling the audience with effects without making them the entire substance of the movie. The number of catchphrases is also limited, which much appreciation from an action fan who isn't emotionally 8 years old. Well worth the wait, and you should check this one out!
