Iron Man is a blast!

This movie is just flat-out entertaining in every way. It was surprisingly really funny, and just full of great action and special effects. I know it has been said before, but Bob D Jr was PERFECT for this role. Tony Stark was the character he was born to play. The acting was great across the board. The special effects were top-notch, and the pacing was perfect. Just when it would beging to border on getting slow, things picked up again. I was not ever an Iron Man fan (although I did read some comics when I was younger) and I was fully engaged in the story.
There were only two gripes I had. 1) I thought the ending was a tad over the top. 2) The music was nothing special...I like a good super hero orchestral theme.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
