Fantastic Comic book Adaptation

While not a huge comic book fan, Iron Man has to be one of my favorite comic book characters. I always liked the fact that he didn't have any superpowers and that his weaknesses were very real. (Women and alcohol instead of kryptonite.) Although not exactly like the comic book Iron Man, this movie stands on it's own perfectly. It's over 2 hours but you would never know it. The pacing of this film should be used as an example for all other action films. The mix of comedy and serious issues were perfect. The special effects and CGI were seamless and just looked natural. Downey plays the role perfectly and doesn't try to go over the top with the emotional scenes. The supporting cast was great and everybody did well with their roles. All in all, a must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
