Firstly the movie was well crafted and well acted.
Second, my Harry Potter back ground is my family read every book outloud cover to cover.
Third, the movie. Every part of the book I wanted to see was gone. The minister of magic did not meet the Prime minister, no battle in the castle, and the respect that a character like Dumbledore deserves was cut out. NO FUNERAL!
Apparently the movie template of Twilight was followed and The HBP was turned into a chick flick. Girls, virtually all the teen love was left in. Boys, Greyback was reduced to a cool looking Deatheater, nothing more.
Malfoy's desperation was conveyed well. Also Harry and Jenny will be nominated for best kiss.
