I am usually very critical of comic inspired movies. I will have to say that this movie exceeded all my expectations and more. Firstly the effects were well done and did not eclipse the actors. Robert Downey Jr. brought a depth and humor to the character of Tony Stark that surprised me. Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts was genius. For an origin movie most of the characters were well rounded and well played. I will likely see this movie again.
Oh.. and stay through the credits for a surprise.
