I went into the movie for the graphics, and watching it on IMAX 3D blew my mind, James did an amazing job. The acting was good too; I would not give the academy awards yet on that. And I had an expectation of story line sucking, but it did not suck, it was actually decent. If you actually paid any, even 10% of your attention to it then you would get the multi-layered theme.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I watched this movie last night and I am still thinking about it, so any movie make me keep thinking about it is pretty good in my book.
If you are looking for heavy sci-fi with lots of movie magic, this ain’t it. This movie is a slap in the face of humanity and the idea there of. The entire movie was/is about how we treat our selves and would treat anyone else (human or not).
Acting was good. Story line was very good... just left a lot out that needed/wanted to be explained. Cinematography was well done and could have done much better. Camera was a bit jerky and it made sense, personally I never cared much for the "reporting" camera shots, and I liked the realism they tried to portray.
Overall it’s a good intelligent movie to watch.

If you are a fan of tons of actions and love the bass vibrate your heart during the movie, this is it.
Robert Downey Jr. did an awesome job being Tony Stark. Acting over all was great. Story line (well no original) was over all good and not distracting. Cinematography was amazing, good job with angles and lightning. Script was very good, not over whelming for the type of movie and enough comedy to smooth out the edges. Graphics and sound blew me away, if you like Audi (oh yes they funded this movie well) or American muscle car like Dodge Charger SRT8 and want to feel like driving that, this movie will give you an experience. PS. I guess you should stick around for credits.
Over all it is a good family movie for everyone, lots of fun, explosions, technology, and sprinkled with romance and humor. This is a good movie to start summer with. I would very much recommend the Movie Iron Man to anyone.
