I have seen a lot of superhero movies. You could say I am an expert on the genre, having read over 30 years worth of comic books and seeing every single superhero movie that comes out. This quite possible is the best superhero movie EVER made. Not only did it capture the spirit of the comics, but it was a socially revelant movie about a man who remakes himself into a hero. Robert Downey Jr IS Tony Stark and does a fantastic job of protraying every aspect of this complicated character. It has plenty of tech gadgets that puts James Bond to shame and the CGI is flawless with the live-action. The Iron Man suit looks completely real. (and I want one) The only superhero movie that might have done a better job of really revealing the heart of the character than this one is Spider-Man 2. Iron Man is a roller coaster ride that never lets up, just like Tony Stark himself. Give it a chance, you will not be disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
