Sam Mendes definitely put his spin in this movie which is usually a good thing. It's not bad here but it doesn't have the feel of a Bond movie. The movie was good: good acting, characters and story line. It was a little dark kind of like the last one but better overall. I liked the way they tied in a bunch of characters and their story lines. What I didn't like was the idea of Bond being old that permeated throughout the first half of the movie. It went overboard. They could have got that point across with less focus on it. I, also, wished that they had some origin to the villian to get a background on why he is the way he is. He seems to be just thrown in.
Overall, go see it. Worth your time.

Well worth seeing. Not all of the movie is done in 3D but alot of scenes were done. Looked great during any space travel scene and pod race was awesome! Go see it...again.
