Often the Christmas movies are hit or miss; this one hits in a very solid fashion. Funny, you get what you are expecting, a little lesson for the characters and all is well. You won't be dissapointed going to see this with friends and family and you will likely laugh out loud at several points with some of the support characters and their over-the-top oddities.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This was an entertaining movie - good special effects and an interesting premise - even an angle I didn't see coming with Charlize Theron's character. The lead actors all do a great job and have a good dynamic together. This is a movie that you are glad to see...not sure thta you will pay to see it a 2nd time but it would probably be a good one to put in your netflix queue when it comes to dvd.

This movie demonstrates what George Lucas and company are brilliant at - special effects and somewhat 'out there' story lines. If you are going to this movie expecting riveting dialogue or a realistic plot line...you are going to be dissapointed. If you are going with the intention of being entertained, a little bit grossed-out and impressed by the cinematographic accomplishments, then this film delivers
