I've loved the muppets as a kid, and lately I've been watching all of the old Muppet Show episodes, I've wanted them back on TV for sometime now so when this movie came out it was a no brainer, I had to see it!
I had tears of sadness down my cheeks at points, especially when Kermit was telling us that nobody remembers them.
Then there were the tears of happiness when I would hear opening theme to The Muppet Show.
The jokes are funny and pure muppet mania! It was great to see parts of The Muppet Show back on a screen. I loved Mah Na Mah Na!
The end of the movie left you hanging for awhile, but all was cleared up in true muppet fashion in the credits!
With this movie I truly believe the muppets can make a comeback and have a show back on TV!
This movie was excellent, and follows the broadway show very well. Normally I see a movie in a theater once, but so far I've seen it twice and have a planned third viewing with even more friends next Friday. While Pierce Brosnan's singing is less than desirable, I can over look it. I was even pleasantly surprised by the "Encore" numbers that were tossed into the credits just like the play.
First off I really wanted to see this movie, it looked interesting, and I heard it was based on a true story. With that said, I was about 10 mins away from walking out on it as the took forever to get to the "action", but once it did you didn't want it to end. By the end of the movie you were asking for more story!
