"The Linguists" handles an intriguing, yet somewhat academic, topic -- the study and documentation of endangered languages -- with a lot of energy, local color, and humor. The film follows two linguists -- both of whom are exceptionally bright but amazingly do not take themselves too seriously -- as they travel the globe to speak to the last speakers of dying languages. I have seen this film three times already (twice when it was at Sundance) and I love it every time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best Kind of Documentary

I love documentaries, and I loved this film. The members of the rock band Anvil are talented musicians, amazing people, and very compelling subjets for a film. Their rollercoster story is moving, inspiring, and, ultimately, entertaining. Plus the music ROCKS. If you can, definitely see this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
