I thought the film did an excellent job of highlighting the fact that evolution has risen to the point of being a doctrine, complete with inquisitors and witch hunts. Any true scientist welcomes debate. If ideas cannot be challenged, science cannot advance.
I only wish the movie would have spent a little more time addressing some of the gaping holes in evolutionary theory. When Dawkins made the claim that there is a huge body of evidence to support it, Stein should have challenged him to back up that claim.
