The movie did not follow a perfectly delightful book that we read many times to our children. The book was very gentle and fun and just a story of imagination. The movie has scary adults and I think it would scare young children. So I found it disappointing.
Of course it includes all the Hollywood clever techniques but it doesn't represent the book at all.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I found this movie to be excellent and will recommend it to my friends. Science has become politicized and I hope that this movie will open the door to objectivity once again. It is always true that we proceed from our own understandings no matter what those might be. This is only alarming when certain questions are not allowed to be spoken aloud. We need to ask, why is this so?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
