Loved it! I enjoyed the movie immensely - the special effects were fantastic, Taylor Lautner was fantastic.

A Very Enjoyable Adaptation

Definitely not a great movie but I enjoyed it very much anyway. The first part, moved really slowly and the acting was stilted. I laughed at several of scenes that were not supposed to be funny, like they turned my beloved book into a comedy!
Then it got better, more action, more plot development. Overall, it's very true to the book. Kristen Stewart has the perfect facial expressions and is spot on as Bella. Rob Pattinson who plays Edward seemed to play the role too tortured. But he was good too and everyone I went to the movie with is in love with him now - he is totally dreamy in the movie although some of his acting is laughable. But we forgave him!
Overall, everyone who went really liked it and enjoyed themselves alot.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
