Getting too emotional?

I believe this movie is more about being able to have an intelligent and humorous discussion about the issues. Apparently, few of the evolutionists dare to admit that they are very emotional about this issue and, honestly, narrow-minded. One view is a narrow view -- period. And before someone says, "oh, yeah, IDers are narrow-minded, too", many of these IDers are educated people that study biology, physics, chemistry, astronomy, and have been able to reach their conclusions based on their findings -- using the same methods that are currently acceptable "in their fields".
Proponents of "intelligent design" continue to offer everyone an alternative viewpoint which is the duty of universities, etc. to share. Especially with the push for "critical thinking" in all levels of education -- what harm does it do to actually think critically while being given more than ONE choice to think about? In essence, why do evolutionsts FEEL so "threatened" by an alternative view?
If you simply don't like the movie, fine. It's still entertaining, and if someone is not entertained perhaps it's because that individual cannot "entertain" an alternative view to his/her own, or simply lacks a sense of humor.
And, yes, I believe in microevolution (within a species -- which is observable and testable), but I do not believe in macroevolution (between species -- not observable. Fossil records are not definitive). Similarities, yes, like a car and a lawn mower both have motors, and possibly made of the same metal alloys. DId one design "evolve" from the other -- no. Both have very different functions because they were very differently "designed".
Yes, I recommend this movie.
