My 3 1/2 year old and I were really looking forward to this movie but I was disappointed when I walked out of the theater. I knew going in there was a witch doctor involved but I had no idea how much Disney would show details of the Voo Doo/Hoo Doo practice. It was really frightening to my daughter who ended up sitting in my lap. She said her favorite part was when the doctor "went away" which was disappointing since I thought it would be when the frogs turned back into humans. I also didn't know there was going to be a death in the movie (hard to explain on the spot since we watched him die!). I rated it average since I still enjoyed the characters and the love story. I would NOT recommend very young children see this.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
