It is important to note that this movie is NOT designed to convince anybody that evolution is completely wrong, that intelligent design is indisputable fact, or that Genesis is a scientifically precise presentation of the creation of the universe, Earth, and man. Throughout this movie, from start to finish, Ben Stein hammers home the point that America is great because we have always allowed people the freedom to seek the truth, which necessarily includes the freedom to pursue ideas which ultimately may prove to be false. The modern Darwinist Inquisition is show for what it truly is in this film -- a Gestapo movement to track down and terminate everyone, no matter how educated, intelligent, and credentialed, who dares to question the "orthodoxy" of completely naturalistic, materialistic, blind chance evolution -- the Gospel that they preach and against which they will tolerate no heresy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
