EXPELLED is a movie about freedom. Freedom to choose - life or death - blessing or cursing. It was really funny at times, because you see antiquated footage when interviewing scientists who explain what happened to them when opening opportunities for discussion on intelligent design. The scientists that hold fast to the theory of evolution are very entertaining in their attempts to sound intelligent, especially Dawkins. (I do agree with the scientists that talk about religion in a negative way, religion is in fact not good. Religion is man's attempt to reach God the intelligent designer. God desires relationship, friendship. Any true friendship has no strings attached. It is a mutuality of getting to know and love one another. We usually treat friends better than family. A relationship with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit is a good experience.) The intelligent designer is good, He is alive, He is IAM. In the final portion of the film when Dawkins proudly reads his explanation of God, I felt so badly for him. More than likely a religious experience hurt his inner man, his real man, his spirit, and he has never been able to see God the Father as good. The god that he is really talking about in his book is the god of this world, but he doesn't know that yet. My prayer is that Dawkins might spend the remaining years of his life truly investigating and searching for the God that I KNOW. One evolutionist scientist interviewed is dying of a brain tumor, I feel sad for him, soon he will know the truth, but then it will be too late. This particular scientist expounds that we don't have free will, I didn't get that at all, because he has most assuredly freely chosen what he believes. Finally, I believe it takes more faith and effort to believe in the evolution of man, than it takes to believe in an intelligent designer. Ultimately those that choose evolution do so because they want to be god of their own life and be accountable to no one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
