We thought this was a very well balanced documentary.....Ben Stein is on point as regards "Freedom" . I concur that our leaders in Academia have to a large degree let us down by being fearful and unwilling to allow other lines of thought. When they crush people for wandering off the Darwin reservation I believe we are all hurt. Free thought is a cornerstone of our nation. The slipppery slope into "controlled" thought, that I am witnessing of late on our college campuses, is almost facist like. Students boo and jeer speakers off the stage at a university because their opinions do not happen to blend with the creedo being spewed by the faculty. It is not America and kudos to Ben for showing us that.
In short this is thought provoking piece of Cinema. It was great to enjoy a good conversation about the movie over dinner & drinks after the show. Now that is entertainment.
