A needed pendullum swing

On the surface, I was initially hit with the bluntness of this movie. Establishing the opening premise of the blatant banishment of those questioning the evolutionary party line left no question to the direction of the movie. But then again, that was the intent of the documentary. There was no deception, no candy coating. This was going to be a movie about a serious issue that needed attention and correction. The humor that was mixed into the text ( and it was appreciated), was simply there to allow the "medicine to go down."
As a person who has frequently been amazed at the lack of open dialogue left in our society, especially if you continue to hold to the foundational values, morals, and social convictions of our forefathers, this movie was a breath of fresh air, encouraging, and convicting, all at the same time.
