A Disappointment

I didn't expect too much because I figured the creators of this film wanted to go their own way with this franchise. I respect that and expected nods to the past and those nods are in this movie. My biggest gripe however, is the brownshirt, national socialist party paraphernalia. I kept expecting someone to yell comrade, nien or, "the proletariat struggle will prevail," or something crazy like that! Anyway, the special effects are incredible and I really appreciate the scale of the robot animation and how the actors interacted with the robots. The actors did a good job but the writers were tripping.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

It's Worth The Dough

This was an interesting spin on Wolverine's past. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Gambit on screen and I hope Marvel will bring him out of the woodwork more often. When you watch this film you will learn and understand why Wolverine is such a jerk and that you would be too if you had lived his life.
My only gripe about this film is what they did to Dead Pool, that irked my nerves. Other than that, most folks will really enjoy this story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
