I agree that Heath Ledger's performance was certainly Oscar-worthy and perhaps the most compelling reason to see this movie. Christian Bale is mechanical and uninspired, the supporting cast mere window dressing but Heath Ledger MADE the movie. Were it not for his performance, and the incredible special effects, I probably wouldn't even rent the DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Iron Man was a very good movie. It was a little slow in the beginning even though the story had to be told. I would recommend it to others.
