Not nearly as good as the book

If you have not read the book or have seen the Showtime Series the Tudors you will like this movie. I however have seen both and think the movie does not come close to either. The movie sped through about 400 pages of the book from where Anne enchants the king to when she eventually becomes queen. This was done in about 7 minutes. The casting was mediocre. I loveee Eric Bana but he should not have been cast as Henry, he is not nearly as mean and powerful as hes portraid in the book. Natalie Portman is a great actress however not seductive enough. Her body is like a little boy. I think she should have been Mary and Scarlett should have been cast as Anne, eventhough Scarlett Johansen did do a great job as Mary. Overall I would recommend it to someone who doesnt know much about the time period and then I would recommend they read the book!!! That was phenomenal!!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
