Like a bootleg movie

This movie was very poorly casted and written. It had so many of the typical "button pushers" that this type of story holds (somebody dies, somebody gets shot, someones an outcast, kids are suffering). It was way to predictable and so not funny. And why did they keep calling Angela Basset's character "a young mother" through out the movie and she over dramatically cried so many times that it plucked my nerves. This movie had no flow to it at all. It seemed like it was written in a hurry and it was all over the place, the emotions seemed forced, akward to watch and hard to connect with.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Surprisingly good. I dont think the name fits the movie though. I enjoyed the cast of stars playing roles that you dont normally see them in. Common is oh so sexy!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
