Overall, I was pleased with the end result. I thought the chemistry between Edward and Bella was on target and I especially loved "the dads," Charlie Swan and Billy Black...they offered great comic relief. The baseball scene was excellent, too (my favorite scenes, actually.) Of course, it wasn't as good as the book (but then again what book-turn-movie ever is?) but it tied as many elements of the literature as possible into two hours and fifteen minutes of screen time. I'll buy the Twilight DVD and have my ticket for New Moon.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
