Del Toro continues to shine as Che in the second half of this moving and beautifully shot film. Soderbergh took great pains to be historically accurate. Definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Che Guevara -- or for just about anyone with a mind who doesnt mind using it from time to time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fascinating way to learn about Cuban Revolution

Shot in sumptuous jungle and countryside, interspersed with nice black and white grainy "footage" of Che on a diplomatic visit to New York City, "Che" is entertaining, funny and very informative. Del Toro does a spellbinding job as Guevara, Castro seems spot on. I have been wanting to read about this period of modern history, and this movie does a brilliant and faithful job of showing what it was like for the Cuban revolutionaries slogging it across the island towards Havana -- their challenges, losses, values, moments of levity and their motivations. Bravo!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
