I go to NYC each fall to see 4 or 5 Broadway plays. Therefore, my expectations are VERY high. I thought this version of Company was very good but not great.
In my opinion, Katie Finneran's "Not Getting Married" stole the show. What a huge talent she is!
I think it is wonderful that people who don't have the opportunity to visit NYC on a regular basis, can now see Broadway plays in their local movie theater.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

As a WI resident I was very anxious to see this movie because of all the local filming. Also I am a big Johnny Depp fan. What a major disappointment. I never felt a real connection to any of the characters and I hated all the (often) unnecessary violence. The movie seemed to be just a series of shootouts...one more bloody than the next. Where was the character development?
No, I do not recommend this movie.
