so funny it hurts

my husband and I laughed so hard throughout this movie our tummys hurt at the end.

this movies was just "Ok" for me. Sure it had it's funny moments, but most of those you already saw in the promo's, so it left me wanting more when the movie came around. All the great promo's left you spitting out the lines in your head just before the actor's said them. Not much of the funny stuff was left in the movie, that wasn't uncovered in the promo's. Marshmallow entertainment at best for me.

Guy humor

Funny and enjoyable! Gerard and Katherine had very good chemistry in this movie which made it believable. Gerard however is set to come out in 3 more movies very soon, so he may be getting a little over-exposed here pretty soon.

This movie reminds me of the movie "putting out the fire" where everyone gave it rave reviews for it's "thought provoking" commentary on human emotional delemma's. not what I go to the movies for. I go to be entertained with fun, mindless comedy, action or good scares.
So this one does not rate high on my list for entertainment value.

Want more Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep was outstanding in this movie. wish they had focused more on Julia instead of Julie, but that was not the book it was based on, so...................... worth seeing just for the few scene's Meryl had!!
